The hostel Belægningen is situated in Avedørelejren, (The Camp of Avedøre), a part of the old fortification of Copenhagen.
Belægningen belongs to the Municipality of Hvidovre and makes an alternative of cheap overnight accomodation in the neighbourhood of Copenhagen. The hostel is established in the former dormitories of the soldiers.
The hostel Belægningen is located only 10 km from the center of Copenhagen. There are various possibilities to reach the hostel by public transportation or by car.
By bus
Bus 1A stops right in front of Avedørelejren.
By Train
Take the S-train A from Hovedbanegården (direction Hundige) to Avedøre station. Change to Bus 1A and get off at Avedørelejren.
From CPH Airport to Copenhagen Central station
Take the Metro towards Nørreport. Change to S-togslinie A (see By train).
